Industrial Engineer
Realizing Operational Improvement, LLC is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Industrial Engineering position for our industrial engineering consulting company headquartered in Highland, MI.
Job Duties:
Lead an IE team for each area as a subject matter expert to ensure lessons learned from past projects are being adhered to. Manage and communicate the time standard scrolls to the vehicle launch teams. Provide leadership and training to the Junior IEs on the team and check their work to ensure that work assignments are being created properly. Capture issues and facilitate corrective action till closure with cross functional teams. Responsible to provide solutions & deliverables for industrial engineering consulting. Use LEAN and perform failure modes effects analysis (FMEA). Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand manufacturing and service methods and activities. Figure out how to manufacture parts or products or deliver services with maximum efficiency. Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient. Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs. Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production. Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that products meet quality standards. Confer with clients about product specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of projects.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field and 12 months experience in job offered or as a Project engineer, Process engineer, or in related occupation.

PROCESS ENGINEER
Realizing Operational Improvement, LLC is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Process Engineering position for our industrial engineering consulting company headquartered in Highland, MI.
Duties Include:
Develop PFMEA’s, follow up open items, and deliver. Develop and update BIW and GA Graphics Process feasibility studies for current and new vehicle(s) model(s). Process Feasibility studies and process assembly sequence analysis for current and new vehicle(s) model(s). Assist IME Process to create BIW and GA weekly reports that provide status of the process areas activities in regards process documents, graphics, PFMEA’s, CN’s and Bulletin’s. Develop and update BIW, Stamping Closures Assembly and GA process sheets documents for the current and new vehicle(s) model(s) that are built at various plants. Design, test, troubleshoot, and oversee implementation of new processes. Manage the production process, creating and implementing new strategies to improve process efficiency, as well as supporting start-up activities. Interpret engineering blueprints, mechanical and technical drawings and develop 3D engineering models; Confer with industrial and mechanical design engineers and other mechanical and engineering staff regarding operational procedures, malfunctions, and process improvements; Conduct periodic analysis of all heavy machinery and large equipment and conduct periodic analysis of all completed maintenance activities and repairs on equipment and mechanical systems; Establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule and supply of materials to ensure reliability within the specified operating environment; Research and remain current with advancements and improvements in mechanical engineering and utility services related designs and materials, progressive techniques and leading-edge technologies and implement changes by developing/refining modernization plan. Preform Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing for control system develop by system integrators. Provide technical support and assists in training goals for maintenance and production. Coordinate controls/programming activities for the process at optimum efficiency and cost to insure production is not impeded and maintenance costs are held. Manages, evaluates and implements appropriate projects that reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve quality. Collaborate with production and engineering to improve existing designs that reduce manufacturing costs. Review and prepare engineering project proposals, estimate costs and develop project budgets, and approve the project before final commissioning of machinery.
Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum education and experience requirements for the Process Engineering position is a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Biotechnology Engineer, Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 2 years’ experience or as a Project engineer, Industrial engineer, or in a related occupation.
Wage: $77,000
